Dr. Householder earned her medical degree at West Virginia University-School of Medicine, West Virginia in May of 1998. She completed her residency at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, Reading, Pennsylvania in 2002. She has board certification with American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Householder performs a full range of gynecologic surgeries, including surgery for abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, some gynecologic cancers, pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence. She is trained on the da Vinci Robot surgical system and has been credentialed by Intuitive Surgical to proctor other surgeons who are interested in learning how to perform robotic surgery. She also maintains a busy practice in both routine and high risk obstetrics.
