A. Nasser Adjei

Dr. Adjei is a board certified Interventional Cardiologist who is also board certified in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. Dr. Adjei attended Medical School in Ankara, Turkey where he earned his degree in 1995 he completed his internship and residency at the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University, Harlem Hospital Center, New York, NY. Dr. Adjei completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University and the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center and Affiliate Hospitals, Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Adjei completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in 2003 at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center and Staten Island University Hospital, NY. Dr. Adjei specializes in procedures which include coronary and peripheral artery angiography, left and right heart catheterization, Rotablator, coronary and peripheral angioplasty and stent placement, peripheral atherectomy, intra-aortic balloon pump insertion, pacemaker insertion, cardioverter/defibrillator insertion. In April of 2011 Dr. Adjei was the only physician in the region to offer Transradial cardiac catheterization, Cardiac CT. Dr. Adjei also serves as the Director of the CHF program.
