Patient Survey

Patient Satisfaction is the focus of Sparks Health System. The patient experience is an integral part of care that can contribute to enhanced patient outcomes. Sparks Health Systems is committed to providing excellent service and has implemented several programs to ensure our patients and their family’s needs are addressed and that they are comfortable during their stay.

Sparks measures our patient’s experience through the use of a patient satisfaction survey distributed by PressGaney Associates. The industry leader, PressGaney processes nearly 9 million surveys yearly and they allow hospitals to benchmark survey responses against other hospitals nationally. The PressGaney patient survey is designed to measure certain factors in detail so we can ensure that all of our patients and families needs are being met. The areas measured include:
  •      Admission and discharge process
  •      Meals
  •      Rooms
  •      Nurses
  •      Testing and Treatment
  •      Visitors & family
  •      Physicians
  •      Personal issues
  •      Overall assessment

PressGaney randomly selects Spark’s patients to answer a patient satisfaction survey. Whether you have stayed in the hospital as an Inpatient, have had a procedure performed at Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center, have been seen in our Emergency Dept. or been seen by our Home Health Agency, your comments and answers are very important to our organization. If you are randomly selected and receive a survey, please take the time to complete it and mail it back. When you return your survey, it helps us to identify areas of opportunity where we can improve care.
