Medical Imaging Services

The Medical Imaging Department provides a comprehensive range of radiology services for both inpatient and outpatient care. All six imaging modalities are available in the department: diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, ultrasound, computed axial tomography with 3D reconstruction, MRI with angiography and comprehensive nuclear medicine procedures including nuclear cardiac testing. These functions/tasks are performed in various department imaging sections: diagnostic radiology, special procedures, nuclear medicine, ER X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound.

The staff includes radiologists, cardiologists, gastroenterologists, internists, anesthesiologists, urologists, OB/GYNs, pulmonologists, endoscopy personnel, speech pathologists, medical physicists and technologists in these areas: MRI, diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, special procedures, CT and ultrasound.

Medical Imaging services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Primary service hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 8 a.m.-noon, Saturday. Emergency services are available for all procedures on an on-call basis.
