
Sparks Regional Medical Center Home Health, a department of Sparks Health System, provides a full range of professional home-care services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is certified by Medicare and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. All cases are carefully supervised by qualified registered nurses.

Professional Home-Care Services
Nursing Staff — Conduct patient observations, instruct patients in self-care and perform skilled procedures such as IV therapy (hyperalimentation, antibiotic/chemotherapy), ostomy care and laboratory collections such as urine and blood samples.
Physical Therapists — Help patients regain mobility and function through planned exercise and treatment programs.
Speech/Language Pathologists — Work with patients to develop special speech restoration programs and voice retraining exercises for patients who have lost their speech due to stroke or other disability.
Home Health Aides — Under the guidance of a registered nurse, assist patients with hygiene, meal preparation, exercise and other duties related to home convalescence.
